STEPHANIE PAIGE

Meditative Nature Artist

"For me, art is a practice of embodying authenticity and being fully present in the moment. Inspired by my Buddhist beliefs, I strive to create artwork that celebrates freedom, passion, and the beauty of existence. With every brushstroke and sculpting technique, I approach my art as a playful exploration. Much like a child absorbed in the joy of play, I let go of expectations and allow the materials to guide me. The process becomes a dance between the materials and my hands, each movement influenced by the present moment. There is no predetermined plan or design instead, I trust that the creative energy flows through me from a higher source. Nature is my greatest muse. As a lifelong nature enthusiast, I draw from the awe-inspiring wonders of the natural world. I am captivated by the rich textures of the soil, the serene depths of clear blue water, the expansive openness of the sky, and the gentle caress of a soft breeze. In my artwork, you will find a fusion of contemporary elements intertwined with rustic, earthy aesthetics. I believe these contrasting styles harmonize beautifully, reflecting the balance and interconnectedness found in life itself. Colors hold a special significance in my artistic expression. Each hue evokes unique emotions within me, guiding the emotional narrative of my work. I am drawn towards specific colors that evoke the feelings I wish to convey. Additionally, I infuse the practice of Metta (Pali) into each piece. Metta, meaning benevolence and love for all beings without discrimination or selfish attachment, becomes a driving force behind my creative process. With each stroke, I imbue my artwork with a heartfelt wish for the happiness and well-being of all. Through my art, I invite viewers to join me on a journey of authenticity and presence. I hope that my creations inspire a sense of freedom and passion within others, encouraging them to embrace their true selves and celebrate the magic of each moment."-
